Parmesan Garlic Bread Sticks

Ingredients:
1-1/4 cups warm water
2 T melted butter
2 C flour
1-1/2 teaspoon salt
2 packets of yeast

Add 2 to 2-1/2 cups flour.

Combine first 5 ingredients in a mixing bowl.  Mix with dough hook.  Add remaining flour 1/2 cup at a time, adding until the dough is pulling away from the bottom of the bowl, leaving it clean.

Divide dough in half, roll each half into an 18 inch roll.  Cut into 1-inch pieces.

Roll each piece into a 6-inch rope, placing on a greased baking sheet.

Let Raise.  Preheat Oven to 400 degrees.

Bake for 20 minutes or until slightly browned around edges.

Brush the tops of hot breadsticks with:

1/4 c butter
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon oil

Serve with spaghetti and meatballs!  Enjoy!
